Finial on lamp, phone cord, headboard, belt buckle, print on skirt, wall behind picture, fold in bedspread, Norman's hair, image lightened. Damn, I can't find the tenth one.
I loved the pilot! Freddie Highmore is just awesome, and so is Vera Farmiga.
But did you guys watch the first episode? I admit I was a little weirded out when they revealed that it was taking place in the present (which wasn't very clear at first, from Norman and Norma's fashions and the state of the hotel when they arrive), but I quickly decided that I'd prefer a full-on reboot to a canonical prequel, especially in series form. There's been so many sequels and variations – of varying quality – over the years that I think a complete offshoot like this is justified.
I have a couple of complaints, but I don't want to get into spoiler territory without written permission…
Oh, also: I taped the original Bates Motel pilot when it aired in (circa) 1987(?) and watched it several times, though even then I recognized it as pretty weak…I was a 9-year-old with strict parents who was starved for horror content, so I took what I could get. I did think that Bud Cort was a good Norman Bates surrogate.

I can't find the tenth one either…

Slasherchick,
I promise I didn't lighten the image so there should be two left!
Sorry if it's coming up lighter. I'm not sure how that happened.
Here are some hints:
1. Can you be more specific about the headboard?
2. The last one might be waving at you!
Taylor,
Yes, it did take some time to adjust! I thought it was in the past until Norman pulled the cell phone out!
I think it's kinda like the Battlestar Galactica reboot; a similar story told in a different way. And maybe it's just on another plane of existence.
"All this has happened before and it will happen again"
I'm sort of glad it didn't turn out to be a traditional direct prequel because in that case they would have gotten Norman's bedroom all wrong!
I have not seen the Bud Cort version since it aired! That would be interesting to check out now.
So far I'm very interested in Bates Hotel! Farmiga & Highmore are well cast!
Unk,
LOL – thanks for letting me know it hasn't been lightened. It looked lighter to me, but that could have just been a trick of my goofy screen. :o)
One of the lines carved into the headboard is gone. And how could I have missed the extra wave in the painting?! Shame on me.
Once again, good one!!
Thank you slasherchick!!!!
Ah it worked! I couldn't get this picture to load!
Thanks to all who played but special thanks to slasherchick!!!:)
