Hello group, 
First timer and thank you.  Saw a MFTV movie between '79 and '83 in the rural South so only got the one shot at seeing it… my recollection was it was set in the 30s or 40s, sinister in nature i.e. a secret group I recall were in men's suits like gangsters.  My resounding and vivid memory was the ending with a close shot on a man standing on a loading dock, zoom in on his neck revealing his "s" or snake tattoo suggesting he was a member of bad guys.  Given my youth, experimentation with drugs (it was the 70's) and the fact that it's been forty years it could be a feature film?  Any help would be appreciated.

Hi! You've helped me with several of these fuzzy memories, and I've got another one for you.

One night in my early teens (so early 80s), I was flipping channels and I saw a movie with a big, ol' fashioned military gun battle. Lots of soldiers shooting at each other. There was a quick 5-10 second shot in the battle scene that I can never forget.

A soldier had been shot in the head, and he slumping down against a wall dying. The wall behind him was splashed with his blood. But what made this so haunting was that the soldier was crying in his last few moments of life.

This poor man was very aware that he had been shot in the head, had only moments left to live, and was weeping and mourning his own imminent death. It was sad and unsettling. I've never forgotten it.

One possibly helpful clue: I am about 95% certain that this was a movie about the battle of the Alamo. I could be wrong, but I don't think I am.

Can you guys help me find closure with this?

Thinking about "Something Evil" made me remember another little piece of a film I saw in the early 70's.

I think this was an older film, probably originally in black and white. There was something about a set of doors, maybe like French doors, that only opened once every 50 or 100 years.

I also think that a man got a bottle of acid dropped onto his face. I remember the fumes rising from his face, which is the Trauma part.

I can remember only one thing from this movie – in a daylit, sunny house, a woman opens up a kitchen cabinet and sees some kind of "mason jar full of boiling hell-stuff." It's red. Maybe it's blood, maybe it's hellfire? It was bubbling.

I mostly remember the contrast of the horror with the sunny day.

This was on TV in the early 70's definitely before 1975. I was born in '65 so I'm guessing 70-74.

I hope someone can help- its one of the "holdouts" after I've managed to track down almost every other film I sort of remember.

Ok. This would have been in late August/early September of 1985. I was living in Bradenton, FL, and WTOG would show movies on Saturday afternoons featuring Dr. Paul Bearer, Creature Feature. It was around Labor Day weekend because we were home from school due to Hurricane Elena.

The movie was something about a girl with long dark hair, worshiping some sort of idol, she gets stabbed in the lower back as some sort of sacrifice while naked. There might have been some sort of bunker/temple involved, I just remember the idol set in an alcove with a light shining down on it and the woman standing in front of it.

This is incredibly vague, hope y'all can help!

Hello, long time reader here.

A rather creepy memory just popped out when I was talking to a friend about horror movies from our childhoods and It just keeps bugging me that I can't get some closure. To start I'm not even sure if my memory is about a movie or a TV show since what I saw scared kid me so much that I just changed channels, but ok down to the description:

The "movie" was about a man working in a movie theater or tv station run by an evil entity, kid me interpreted that character as a witch since the Spanish dub used a female actress doing a stereotypical evil witch impersonation but she looked more like a Nazgul from LOTR, a robed figure with only her ghostly and wrinkly hands visible. Said man had to work for the evil entity because… I don't remember, one of the few memory lagoons that made this even more creepy for kid me.

Anyhow the only scenes that I can remember with some clarity are two:

*The entity watching with delight a cartoon in a monitor inside the theater/tv station. The cartoon was about the entire planet being flooded with blood and the main character drowning alongside every single person in the world, that character was an animated version of the man.

*The man's son waiting for him to come home during a stormy night, the kid is standing in front of the house's crystal (?) main door when the lightning creates a projection of a shadow that resembles the evil entity, obviously the kid is terrified and begins to cry and scream only for the door to open and reveal it was the man all along who enters to comfort the child.

This movie or whatever was broadcasted during the morning of a weekend (Sunday I think) so I'm not sure if it was a straight horror movie or some kind of weird horror thing aimed at children since movie channels used to broadcast content for kids and families at that timeslot.

Hi, I've been trying to identify the following three films for years (although the first two may be chapters in a series).

* This one I may have seen around 20-25 years ago. I remember two guys speaking, some extraterrestrial hotties had come to earth, and one of them was abducted and got half of his face blue colored. I would have sweared this must have been a chapter of Weird Science, but I've tried to find out with no luck.

* This one I saw more or less at the same time, I remember a guy was given the keys of the city (a huge key), but for some reason he was rejected later and taken out of the city, they changed the lock of the door to the city so we see the guy seated on the floor and then becoming a skeleton in a pseudo timelapse.

* This last one I saw much later, maybe 15 years ago, but I think this was an old movie. It's basically a Latin American film about the lives of some people in a poor neighborhood. I know that an old lady falls into the pig's house (and the pig is hungry because she cannot feed it very much), so the pig eats her.

For years I've tried identifying a movie based on a few scenes from my memory with no luck.

I went to a daycare as a child in a HUGE haunted plantation home here in Texas from the 1800s. My teacher knew I never napped during nap time, so she'd let me sit in a separate room alone and watch scary movies.

The movie in question was a ghost movie, scenes in a possibly haunted school, likely from the 80s. I also remember a scene where a construction vehicle was moving a ton of dirt. I also remember kids walking down a hallway in said school and a scene in the bathroom. That's about it.

Hi Kindertrauma. I'm going crazy trying to remember a movie I saw in the NYC area on local tv in the late 70s. The movie itself is in color and made in the 70s as well. All I can remember is the end. Two possible escaped prisoners in a foreign land (one wounded) slowly make their way down a wooded/jungle road evading recapture from their captors. The movie cuts to friends/family en route to the rendezvous as well. Anyway, a military helicopter lands, soldiers get out and exchange fire with the military captors, but have to leave. The firepower is too much. The movie ends on the beaten faces of the prisoners helplessly watching as their escape flies away, on a freeze frame no less. This is the LAST movie in my mind I'm trying to track down. ANY help is appreciated.

Hi there Kindertrauma,

I'm looking for a movie about a guy who is locked up in an apartment (could also be a hotel). The apartment is filled with women, and the man must run and hide from these women for some reason. I believe it's a movie from the seventies. It could also be that the movie is French.

Does anybody have any idea what movie I'm searching after?
