We interrupt our regularly scheduled Kindertrauma Funhouse with an emergency transmission from HORROR DIGEST! Yes, our old pal ANDRE DUMAS is back with ten film images that must be deciphered. Do you recognize these films within films? Guess away and let special funhouse guest host ANDRE help you along the way! Make sure you also check out ANDRE on her home network HERE!
#1: Poltergeist (?)
#2: Fright Night (?)
#3: American Werewolf in London (?)
#7: The Sixth Sense
#8: Zombieland
#9: Nightmare on Elm Street
#4 is definitely "Funny Games"
Is #3 "An American Werewolf In London?"
I want to say "Poltergeist" for #1, but it doesn't seem quite right . . .
#5 is Sisters
And, land o' goshen, could #6 be Killing Zoe? Not a horror movie despite the Savini effects, but I know that's The Wicker Man on the TV, so it fits…
Jeesh we'll have to make part 2 harder for you people.
So Chris nabs most of them…
#1 Polteregeist (Craig T loves those political shows)
#2 Fright Night
#3 An American Werewolf in London (comedic innocence soon raped by one of the strangest and bloodiest nightmare sequence in history)
4. Phil D picks out Funny Games the original version
5. Walter Paisley recognizes the aptly named game show Peeping Tom from Brian De Palma's uber creepy Sisters.
7. Chris nabs The Sixth Sense as Bruce Willi's' wife relives some wedding video memories.
8. Chris again with Zombieland, the greatest use of Ghostbusters since….Ghostbusters.
Walter 6. is not Killing Zoe, but you are right about one thing, this is also not a straight horror movie.
Oops and Chris also got #9 A Nightmare on Elm Street… what better way to stay awake than to watch Bruce Campbell chainsaw some demons?
AW! The Sixth Sense! I knew I recognized that one and I just couldn't place it!
Well, if #6 isn't Killing Zoe, it must be Shallow Grave!
aha! Right you are Walter.
#6 is Shallow Grave, Ewan McGregor picks the wrong movie to watch when anxious about what they've done…
That leaves us with #10, anybody ?
Number 10 is from the Best Worst movie ever made, Troll 2!
Cave people? I'm going to need a hint for 10!
Haha yeah ok
first clue is this is a sequel of an already terrible movie.
Hahah yes! Troll 2 ding ding!
Thanks everyone for playing!
Let's see…. my favorite is of course American Werewolf in London, I was just watching this the other day as it is on Instant Watch. I can't help but smile throughout its running time. Oooh John Landis, where have you gone!?
YAY 4 me.
Yeah, I just watched American Werewolf on Netflix earlier this week, what a fantastic movie. And Frank Oz has two cameos!
And happy belated birfday Andre! LOVED the Worst Witch write up!
Thanks dude!
The strange thing about that "Muppet Show" bit in AWL is that it was a UK spot, and David is dreaming about his family back in the US…
The UK spots were created to fill in time that would've normally been used for commercials in the US. And that one was from the episode with legendary ventriloquist, Senor Wences.

Landis is supposed to be doing a version of Burke and Hare with Simon Pegg, Andy Serkis and a ton of other worthies. Whether it will see the light of day or go on some shelf (dvd or otherwise) remains to be seen.
