I want to thank Norman J. Warren for all of his unique contributions to cinema! I have not seen all of his work but the films I have encountered have really stuck with me (for better or worse)!
PREY (77) is a brilliant sic-fi version of THE FOX (67) and I recommend it highly.
BLOODY NEW YEAR (87) is so bonkers it’s crazy-making. I have some bad memories connected to it so I’ll probably never dare watch it again but it’s intoxicatingly insane so I dig it.
I’m not a fan of INSEMINOID (81) though! I’ve tried at least three times! I’m sure Warren would understand and forgive me!
I’m going to have to catch up on the rest. SATAN’S SLAVE looks like a good bet for me.
Note: BLOODY NEW YEAR and INSEMINOID are free to view on Tubi currently!
Would love to know if you guys have any favorite Warren films/memories!
I’m very grateful for his art (even Inseminoid), he’s a true one of a kind! RIP

I confess I’ve only watched one Warren film, Bloody New Year, just recently. It’s because you included the movie in your Funhouse one week, Unkle Lancifer.
I dug it! The movie’s definitely following in the wake of The Evil Dead, but it heads off in its own weird directions.

Here’s a review of TERROR way back here:
