I thought #4 would be difficult. It is Kolobos, a regional horror film shot in Nebraska, that went straight to video in the late 90s. I don’t think it ever played theaters. It would probably have been forgotten, but the folks at Arrow Video discovered the movie and gave it their usual excellent reissue treatment.
I watched it for the first time just a few weeks ago, thanks to Arrow’s streaming service, and really liked it. Kolobos doesn’t imitate popular horror films, the way many DTV films do, but has its own ideas, and a regional flavor. Linnea Quigley even makes a cameo appearance.
Thanks, everyone!

And thank you to unkle lancifer for allowing me to create a guest funhouse.
Thanks so much for the day off SDC! I really admire your excellent choice of images!
I even got a few and that makes me very proud today!
Oooooh I know KOLOBOS !!! I even own it but I’m not surprised I didn’t get it because the only time I’ve ever seen it was when I was really sick and visiting my parents in Texas. It’s now a “cursed’ film for me. I have to watch it again some day !
Thanks to all who played and Big thanks to our special guest host
#7 is House by the Cemetery
I love this one!
And #9 is Mausoleum, I believe
#3. The House That Dripped Blood
#8. The Funhouse
#10. The Curse of the Cat People
#5- Silent Night, Deadly Night 3?
LOVE these images SDC!
All the ones I recognized (7, 9, 10) have been spoken for!
#1 looks like Nicoletta Elmi from NIGHT CHILD but older. I can’t figure it out.
And #2 is giving me Leigh McClowsky in INFERNO vibes but not sure…
I should be better at this!
I know two for sure: 3 is The house that Dripped Blood and 7 is The house by the Cemetery
Shots in the dark: Is 1 Gothic? and is 2 Prince of Darkness?
I know 6 is not from the dream sequence in Drop Dead Fred, but my brain is not letting me think of anything else lol
Is 6 an AMITYVILLE?
Hey, everyone. I was worried I might have been a little too obscure with some of these, but you guessed most of them correctly.
1. It is indeed Night Child, unkle lancifer! Currently on Amazon Prime for anyone who hasn’t seen it yet – I really like it
2. We movie fans can get a little too obsessive with our references, if you know what I mean.
3. The House That Dripped Blood – correct Matt Sunshine!
4. There aren’t many horror films shot in Omaha.
5. Silent Night, Deadly Night 3 – correct, gonzo72!
6. Yes, again, unkle lancifer, it’s Amityville 3-D!
7. House by the Cemetery- yes, kathryngrace!
8. The Funhouse indeed, Matt Sunshine!
9. It is Mausoleum, kathryngrace!
10. Yes, Curse of the Cat People, Matt Sunshine!
#2 – Fade to Black! Great hint
