I saw them open for Sting (!?! WTF?) when this album came out. Live, the lady's bass was just crushingly loud. We were in middling seats in a basketball auditorium, and it was still making my sternum vibrate. And I seem to remember Mankey's playing sounding closer to Neil Young w/Crazy Horse on eleven hits of acid in intensity. To top off the circus atmosphere, Vinx-an amazing singer and hand-drummer (who I just learned via Wiki was an Olympic athlete) ALSO opened for Sting. Oh and Sting did Purple Haze + Wind Cries Mary.
