So besides the four babysitter movies depicted in the above image (HALLOWEEN, FRIGHT, WHEN A STRANGER CALLS, HOUSE OF THE DEVIL) what other horror movies can you guys think of that feature babysitters?
I've got…
BABYSITTER WANTED (2008)
TRICK OR TREATS (1982)
NIGHTMARE (1981)
I can't think of additional horror movies, but back when I babysat my nephew and niece I had a reoccurring nightmare about having to save them from horrible things. In my nightmare, I was always heroic and would stop at nothing to save them.
The #1 most important part of babysitting is making sure that the children under your care are not murdered by an escaped mental patient.
Forget zombies and vampires, somebody should make a movie called "Babysitters Vs. maniacs" and have it an all out war.
Also I remembered another babysitter!
The one from Amityville Horror (original and remake). She didn't have to worry about a maniac but she still really earned her two bucks an hour.

Well, really a nanny/governess instead of a babysitter, but all of the adaptations of "The Turn of the Screw" including "The Innocents" and the more babysitteresque (but less good) "In a Dark Place".
