I always thought Scream sucked and after Scary Movie absolutely decimated it, I can't see how they kept making them; I can't take it seriously. Urban Legend and Valentine will always be the best of the 90s/2000's nu-slashers precisely because they were so much like the 80's slashers and took themselves at least somewhat seriously, which they took a lot of shit for.
Matt Sunshine broke the whole code so I’ll just let his comment be the answer Key!
Ghastly1,
You’ll be happy to know that Director Jamie Blanks (Urban Legend, Valentine) is set to appear in the Kindertrauma doc! He’s actually one of the nicest guys on Earth and is very supportive of Kindertrauma. I’m sure he would love that compliment
If I have time this week, I’ll write a review for SCREAM 6 but suffice to say I enjoyed it much better than 5! It’s a fun, tense ride so if you are a fan of the series (which Ghastly1 is clearly not) I’d recommend seeing it!
Unk,
That's cool; can't wait to see it. I think Jamie Blanks did two pretty enjoyable films with those two, so tell him I said big up to him for both of them. But yeah, Scream just never did it for me; uninteresting story, unlikable characters, a killer that while he looks kind of cool, is clumsy (which Scary Movie really nailed) and of course what it is most known for, the "meta" aspect never impressed me at all; characters in a horror movie commenting on tropes and "rules" of horror movies does not characterization make. It wasn't even original; just off the top of my head Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein did it, Fright Night did it, Friday the 13th Part VI did it, The Monster Squad did it, Man Bites Dog did it, Evil Ed did it and they all did it infinitely better imo; I'm sure there's a bunch more I'm not thinking of too. I actually don't mind I Know What You Did Last Summer because it eschewed all that.
Hey it’s SCREAM 6 day.
Note: There are exactly TWO images from each of the previous five SCREAM movies in today’s Funhouse.
Also Note:
The KINDERTRAUMA: WE KNOW WHAT SCARED YOU! doc has been singled out as a “Project We Love†on Kickstarter!
There’s one week left to help out this 15 years in the making documentary!
If you’ve ever obtained an iota of joy from this joint, please consider tossing a coin into our tin cup!
(BTW: For a mere 20 clams you get a digital copy of said film) Here's a Link:

Nice!
I think #3 is, er, Scream 3 – the scene where Sydney discovers the replica of her family home on the movie studio's sound stage.
I'm pretty sure #6 is Scream 2 – Gale Weathers' camerman in the news van.
I think #5 is also Scream 3 (opening scene).
I hope other people are playing.
I think #10 is Scream 5 (or 5cream, if you prefer).
I think #7 is also Scream 2 (the sorority house). I think #2 is also Scream 5.
#1. Scream 5
#2. Scream 4
#3. Scream 3
#4. Scream 3
#5. Scream 2
#6. Scream 1
#7. Scream 2
#8. Scream 1
#9. Scream 4
#10. Scream 5

Excellent job SDC!
