Today we have an early Christmas gift from our pal Mickster! Mickster has assembled ten images from ten Christmas TV movies. How many do you know?
1 is Albert Finney I believe, from the musical version of A Christmas Carol
3 is the news reporter at the end of A Very Brady Christmas (which I watch every year).
and that is all I can think of… I want to say 7 is Vita from Friday the 13th: The Series, but that wasn't a Christmas episode and we all know the antiques can't be broken or damaged. 😉
#3 is indeed the cheese-classic A Very Brady Christmas-Excellent work, Caffeinated Joe!
The Friday the 13th: The Series guess would be a good guess considering how much I love the show, but you are right that cursed antiques cannot be damaged.
Part of your #1 guess is on the right track, but it is not Albert Finney.
I'm pretty sure I don't know any of them, but will take a stab at two:
#6 looks like Deadly Messages to me.
#10 reminds me of An American Christmas Carol.
And certainly, one of these must be Home for the Holidays! 😉
Yikes! I guess I did make these too hard!
Here are hints for everything except for #3 which Caffeinated Joe guessed quickly.
#1-My favorite version of the Dicken's classic.
#2-This one is from 1990 and stars one of my all-time favorite singers as something I have a fear of in real life.
#4-This one is a 1973 remake of a classic Christmas flick (I actually saw this one before the original) Mr. French from Family Affair plays a major role.
#5-The man with his back to us also stars in a classic Christmas movie from 1946.
#6-This one stars Tom Cruise's first wife.
#7-This Christmas movie went on to be a series, but with a different mom and dad.
#8-This one has Amanda by Night's favorite Bert Convey.
#9-This one has one of the original Charlie's Angels staring.
#10-One would not expect Charles Bronson to be in a Christmas movie…
4) – Miracle on 34th Street
10) – Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus
#7 must be The Homecoming, from which The Waltons sprung. And is #9 The Night They Saved Christmas?
#4-Correct, Matt Sunshine!
#7-Correct, Caffeinated Joe!
#9-Correct, Caffeinated Joe!
#10-Correct, Matt Sunshine!
1) A Christmas Carol (1984)
Mickster, that is also my favorite version. I can still remember being 8 years old, watching the premiere and getting a little freaked out when they showed the 2 children under the robe.
#5 is Mr's Krueger's Christmas. I remember laughing at the ads in TV Guide because of the title and that Freddy-like fedora Jimmy Stewart was wearing.
#1-Yay, Matt Sunshine! Those children are super creepy! I think I used a pic of them in a holiday funhouse a few years ago!
#5-Right on, Crabbymoon! Oh man! You are right about his hat, LOL!
That leaves #2, #6, and #8! I just know Amanda by Night would know #8 with the clue.
I will go ahead and answer #6 for my niece who is too stubborn to come here to answer. I promise she did not know from me.
#6 is…The Christmas List (1997)
One last clue for #2-Mannequins freak me out and Xanadu is my favorite movie.
#2 is A Mom For Christmas. I used to watch it every year.
Yes!
#2-is A Mom for Christmas! Hurray for Whyteroze!
#8-The Man in the Santa Claus Suit
