UNK SEZ:You know a holiday is approaching because here comes our old pal Mickster to kindly host another funhouse! Yay! This time out Mickster has selected images from Halloween themed TV episodes and specials. How many do you kinder-critters recognize?
I thought I would know more, but I only know #4 – the Hellowe'en episode of Friday the 13th: The Series.
#8 seems familiar, but I cannot place it.
2. Amazing Stories (1985–1987)
3. Freaks and Geeks (1999–2000)
5. Garfield in Disguise (1985)????????
7. The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries (1977–1979)
10. Tales from the Darkside (1983–1988)
3. Freaks and Geeks Tricks and Treats
The only one I know is Freaks and Geeks, but I was already beaten. Twice. But, seriously, wasn't Freaks and Geeks the BEST?
Fantastic show, can hardly believe they only had a single season!
1 is Alf. And I'm about 99% sure 9 is Kate and Allie.
Wow! Y'all are doing great so far!
1. Alf-biffboff is on the money!
2. Amazing Stories-Greentea recognizes the Mummy Daddy!
3. Freaks and Geeks-Greentea is first to recognize this fantastic show that definitely deserved more than one season!
4. Friday the 13th the Series-Caffeinated Joe knows the stairway to the vault of cursed objects!
5. Garfield's Halloween Adventure-Greentea is on a winning streak!
7. The Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew Meet Dracula-Once again, Greentea nails it with a wooden stake!
9. Kate & Allie-biffboff is correct a second time!
10. Tales From the Darkside-Greentea is on fire!
Chainman and Dylan, I could not agree with y'all more about Freaks and Geeks!
#6 &8 are still open!
I recall Paul Williams reprises one of his songs from 'Phantom of the Paradise' in the 'Hardy Boys' episode…
You guys are incredible. the only one I would have gotten is #7. I can't believe I didn't recognize Kate & Allie. Also, I'm with you all on Freaks & Geeks.
You are correct, greentea! Here is the song…https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZ1-blFcPjA
Here are hints for # 6 &8
6. "Sean of the Dead" wrote a traumafession about this episode several years ago, and my scumbag ex-husband referenced it in a traumafession as well.
8. Middle Aged Werewolf
Okay, here are more hints for # 6&8
6. This "ginger" character plans to hold his annual Halloween party at the old Simpson house, which is supposedly haunted by the ghost of the headless "Old Lady Simpson". This other "ginger" character must confront his own fears about the ghost.
8. "I was a Middle Aged Werewolf" was poking fun of this actor's early career.
Number 8 must be Highway to Heaven, then?
Yes, #8 is Highway to Heaven-Good job, biffboff!
So, it looks like no one can id #6, so I will tell the answer…Happy Days-the episode titled "Haunted" from October 1974.
Agree with everyone. Freaks and Geeks was one of the best shows ever. Not only did it get only one season, but it was cancelled after 12 episodes or so. The last six weren't even aired until syndication, Netflix, etc.
